We carefully research and test each of our tours, to give a variety of experiences.
Features of our small-group escorted tours include:
- Touring specific parts of England and Wales, instead of trying to show you the whole of the country in a short time,
- Exploring the diversity of a particular geographical area,
- Using our local knowledge to show you a side to England that many other tours miss,
- Using guides born and raised in England,
- Staying in small inns, hotels and B&B's (bed & breakfast), and
- Visiting castles, historic homes, ruins, the countryside, and small towns and villages.
All this takes place at a relaxed pace, allowing us to soak up the atmosphere, indulge in a little people-watching, sample the beer, the cream-teas and the fish and chips.
Our current offerings are as follows:

- Yorkshire Moors and Dales
Yorkshire is the largest county in England, stretching from the East Coast westward to the Pennine hills - the backbone of England, about 150 miles north of London. To the east the landscape is rolling moorland, while the western half is a vast network of valleys and dales. Our tour will explore both facets of this varied county. We will be spending time in the city of York with it's 800-year old minster and walls, in the fishing village of Whitby on the east coast which is the home of Captain Cook, and in the bustling dales market town of Skipton, plus other interesting sites.
